Fresh find: Petite Vintage Interiors collaborates with Laura Blythman

Children’s interior designer, Petite Vintage Interiors, and artist, Laura Blythman, collaborate to create beautiful linenPetite Vintage Interiors X Laura Blythman 5I love a collaboration {so much so I’m participating in one right now – literally as I write this!}, I love creative Australians {as those who follow along on Instagram will know all too well} and I love finding special pieces to delight my readers. It will come as no surprise then that I took an instant shining to this beautiful new linen collection. The collection is a collaboration between children’s interior designer, Petite Vintage Interiors and artist Laura Blythman – both amazingly talented Australians with an eye for making kids’ rooms stylish, inviting and fun.Petite Vintage Interiors X Laura Blythman 4The collection consists of “Asher”, a single bed doona {duvet} cover with piped edges, a single piped edged standard size pillow case {sold as a set} and a 40cm x 40cm complementary bow cushion {sold separately}. Importantly, each piece is designed, printed and manufactured in Australia and its all 100% cotton – perfect for little people to sleep in.Petite Vintage Interiors X Laura Blythman 1Petite Vintage Interiors X Laura Blythman 3So, what’s special about this linen collection? Aside from the all Australian aspect, the lovingly screen-printed duvet cover is reversible, offering two distinct looks with one piece.  Asher, a super cute little face adorns one side with a pink and mint floral print on the reverse. Perfect for children that may be afraid to go to sleep – being tucked in under Asher is like getting a big warm hug, keeping your little one safe from night time monsters.

What about the boys? Lex, the newest design in the range is coming soon!Petite Vintage Interiors X Laura Blythman 6

Window shopping: catherine & grace merchandises Quincy’s window

Quincy collaborates with local creatives and asks catherine & grace to contribute

Quincy, a gorgeous shoe and accessories boutique on Queen Street in Woollahra, part of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, is teaming up with local businesses and businesswomen enabling them to showcase their skills, style and specialities by creating a window display utilising products stocked at Quincy.  I’ve been working with Quincy for almost a year, helping with events, weekly floral installs and advising on style, trends and merchandising decisions, so I was thrilled to be asked to participate in their new collaboration project.

My window was installed yesterday and offers a stylised ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at my styling and photography services, utilising shoes, bags and jewellery currently available at Quincy, in-store or online. If you are able to get down to 76 Queen Street, Woollahra, I’d love you to pop by and let me know what you think.  )W blog #03)W blog #05)W blog #07)W blog #08)W blog #09)W blog #02)W blog #06)W blog #10xx Catherine JPEG
