Simple & fresh – a family Christmas dinner

Simple & fresh styling for our family Christmas dinner on a stormy Sydney day

With extravagant the best way to describe the way my family does gifts and food over Christmas, I decided to keep the table simple & fresh.  Flowers were picked from my parents blooming Killara garden during the afternoon enhancing the white and green palette.  The napkin / place card ensembles were designed to represent the two significant events for our family during 2013… rosemary {as used in the buttonholes} for my sister’s wedding to her long time beau and glittering “sand” depicting the perfect proposal my brother organised for his girl, on Balmoral Beach.Christmas tablescape image 22013-12-25 - Christmas BLOG - copyright Catherine Wilson for catherine & grace032013-12-25 - Christmas BLOG - copyright Catherine Wilson for catherine & grace07Christmas tablescape image 12013-12-25 - Christmas BLOG - copyright Catherine Wilson for catherine & grace122013-12-25 - Christmas BLOG - copyright Catherine Wilson for catherine & grace13
